How do I manage my domain?
You can manage your domain through our control panel, where you have the ability to set nameservers, modify DNS records, and update registrant information. This comprehensive tool provides all the necessary features to effectively manage and control your domain settings.
How do I transfer my domain to Anderhost?
During the process of transferring a domain to our service, you will be required to provide an EPP code, which is requested on the order form. This EPP code can be acquired from your current or previous registrar’s control panel, or by reaching out to their support team. Additionally, ensure that the domain is unlocked at your current registrar to facilitate the transfer.
After you submit your order with the validated EPP code, an email will be sent to the administrative contact listed in the WHOIS database. This email contains a link that needs to be clicked to proceed with the transfer. Once clicked, the previous registrar has up to five days to release the domain to us.
Many registrars may automatically approve the transfer or send you an additional link to expedite their approval. However, some registrars might not do this, in which case you might have to wait the entire five-day period for the transfer to be completed.
How long is a registration for?
Each domain can be registered for a minimum period of one year. The price you see listed on our website or in our communications is for this one-year period. This means that when you register a domain with us, you are securing it for an entire year, and the listed price covers this full duration. We strive to maintain transparent and straightforward pricing, ensuring that you understand the costs involved without any surprises. Remember, this one-year registration is the minimum duration; you always have the option to register a domain for a longer period if you prefer.
When can I transfer my domain to Anderhost?
According to ICANN regulations, a domain cannot be transferred within 60 days of its initial registration or the most recent transfer. This rule is applicable to domains being transferred both to and from our service.
